Dehradun, 13 Jun: Chief Secretary, Dr SS Sandhu held a meeting at the secretariat regarding the preparations for the G20 to be held in Rishikesh from 25 to 28 June later this month. The Chief Secretary said that the management was very good in the previous G20 meetings, and it should continue in the coming meeting as well.
Dr Sandhu said that being a tourism state, it is important to pay special attention to the image of the state. He said that whatever works are being done for beautification, the quality should be ensured. All the improvement works that should be done should be of permanent nature so that the tourists coming even after G20 can enjoy them.
The Chief Secretary further added that a mechanism should be developed for the repairs and rejuvenation of roads in all the districts of the state.
