Dehradun, 28 Aug: PWD and Irrigation Minister Satpal Maharaj has expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of senior journalist and Amar Ujala’s State Bureau chief Rakesh Khanduri and has extended condolences to the bereaved family.
The Minister described the passing away of Khanduri as an irreparable loss to the entire fraternity of journalism, remarking that Uttarakhand’s media world has lost a priceless treasure. He said that Khanduri was deeply connected with issues of public concern and consistently highlighted even the smallest matters of the hills with seriousness and commitment through his writing.
Maharaj added that Khanduri’s pen always reflected honesty, impartiality and dedication towards the larger interests of society. He noted that his absence would always be felt in the world of journalism in the state.
