Dehradun, 15 Jan: District Magistrate Savin Bansal today chaired a meeting held at the
District Collectorate Auditorium to review the preparations for the upcoming 38th National Games. During the meeting, he instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are completed on time and emphasised the importance of departmental coordination with headquarters to fulfil their responsibilities.
The DM stressed the need for proper arrangements, including parking facilities near the event venues, to be finalised promptly. He directed the Additional Municipal Commissioner, City Magistrate, Executive Engineer (PWD), and senior Police Officials to inspect the event venues, to review the existing arrangements and make immediate improvements and additional arrangements where necessary.
The meeting was attended by Chief Development Officer Abhinav Shah, Additional Municipal Commissioner (Municipal Corporation Dehradun) Hemant Kumar, City Magistrate Pratyush Singh, Superintendent of Police (City) Pramod Kumar, SP, Rural, Jaya Baluni, SDM (Headquarters) Shalini Negi, Chief Medical Officer Dr Sanjay Jain, District Development Officer Sunil Kumar, and other district level officials from the departments concerned.
