Dehradun, 9 Jun: With an aim to bring together all stakeholders of ECHS on a common platform to deliberate on recent policy changes, address emerging challenges, and formulate strategies for enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of services provided under the ECHS, Uttarakhand Sub Area organised a seminar in Garhi Cantt which was attended by a large gathering of veterans, senior serving officers of armed forces and representatives of ECHS empanelled hospitals of Uttarakhand.
The seminar deliberated upon the recent policy changes, problem areas in ECHS and formulation of a common strategy to improve the quality healthcare for the 2.5 lakhs Ex-Servicemen and their dependants. It also gave an opportunity to the veterans to directly address their grievances to the ECHS functionaries and empanelled hospital.
