Dehradun, 25 Aug: Extramarks Education hosted the “Schools of Tomorrow”, here, bringing together 100 school leaders to discuss the future of education. The event featured a distinguished panel that explored the transformative role of the National Education Policy (NEP) and technology in preparing schools for the future.

Keynote speaker Dr Jagpreet Singh, Headmaster of The Doon School, highlighted the importance of integrating technology into legacy schools. Drawing from his experience in successfully modernising traditional institutions, he shared, “India is leading global education with forward-thinking policies. Integrating technology in schools with rich histories, like The Doon School, is essential to maintaining educational excellence while adapting to modern needs. This ensures that we continue to support teachers and foster continuous learning for both students and leaders.”

Raunak Jain, Vice Chairman, Tula International School, spoke on innovative solutions for future education. Kamal Ahuja, Deputy Headmaster, The Doon School, discussed curriculum design to foster leadership. HS Mann, Director, Doon International School, highlighted edtech’s role in personalised learning and teacher efficiency.

Divya Dwivedi, Principal, Neoteric World School, advocated for full adoption of digital learning ecosystems. Dr Arvindnabh Shukla, Principal, Shri Ram Centennial School, explored integrated learning across multiple subjects. Anjan Kumar Chaudhary, Dean, Academics, The Doon School, emphasizsed the importance of communication and rich learning environments.

Poonam Singh Jamwal, Chief Business Officer of Extramarks Education, stressed the need for personalised education and empowering teachers with technology to focus on conceptual understanding and problem-solving.

The conclave underscored the importance of adapting education to meet the demands of the modern world, with a strong focus on personalisation, technology, and continuous growth for both educators and students.
