Farewell at Indian Cambridge School

DEHRADUN, 22 Dec: Farewell party for the students of class 12th was organized at ‘ The Indian Cambridge School’ Dalanwala, Dehradun.
The School Director, Syed Mohammed Yasar, Principal Rachna Srivastava were the guests on the occasion.
The school campus was festooned with black and white shining stars.It commenced at 11 a.m in the
morning, on Saturday.  The theme of the farewell party was ‘Life is Chess Make Right Moves’.
Sunidhi Shah and Priyanka Rathore welcomed and introduced the Chief Guest of the day. Balloons were released by the Chief Guest.
The ceremony started with the welcome of class 12th students , followed by the lighting ceremony  and Mehak prayed to God for their future endeavours and upcoming Board Examination.
The incredible dance and songs were presented by class 11th students.
Garhwali dance  was performed by boys and girls on‘ Dena hoya fyolida’ The boys displayed their moves on  Bollywood Mashup while the girls tapped on punjabi number ‘Proper Patola’. Many interesting and  tricky games were played to pep up the environment.
The Ramp walk and couple dance was the main attraction for everyone present. The judges put various questions and students replied to them well. Class 11th students read out the compliments while the Principal  gave a momento to each student.
A parting speech was given by Apoorva Gautam of Class XII.
The much-awaited result of the ramp walk and modeling session was announced. Mohd. Zaman was adjudged the King  whereas  Suhani Shah was declared  the Queen of the Day. The Spark of the Eve was Tarana Parveen  and the Handsome Hunk was given to  Shoaib Khan.
Apoorv Gautam & Avantika Mall were adjudged ISC star of 2018-19 in boys and girls categories, respectively.
The  snacks and lunch was served on the occasion to each and everyone present on the day.
The dignitaries on the occasion blessed the outgoing batch and they wished that they will come out with bright colors in upcoming  ISC Board Examination.
The  XII class students cut the farewell cake while  Rachna Srivastava , proposed the vote of thanks.
The day was great, filled with nostalgia,fun and excitement.
