DEHRADUN, 3 Oct: Free Dental Camp for SJA alumni members was held recently and was a huge success! Held over a week from 25 Sept to 1st October with participation from six doctors, namely –
Beyond Smiles Dental care and Implant Centre – Dr Ullas Anand;
Dehradun Dental Centre – Dr Neeraj Kumar Sharma;
Jain Dental Care – Dr Shveta Jain;
Dental 360° – Dr Pankaj Gandhi; 32 Gems Dental Care and Implant Center – Dr Abhinav Jain; and Beyond Smiles Dental care and Implant Centre – Dr Mayur Anand.
The dedicated team of dental professionals provided a range of services, including routine check-ups, cleanings, and oral health consultations, all at no cost to the alumni members and their families.
But that wasn’t all! The event also culminated in a meaningful Blood Donation Camp held on 2nd October 2024, where members participated in this life-saving cause.
SJA Alumni Association in collaboration with Sri Mahant Indresh Hospital Blood Bank, Rotary Club Central Dehradun, Devbhoomi Tax Bar Association, Rajpur Road Vyapar Samiti and Young Indians, aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to encourage members to contribute to this noble act. 56 units of blood were collected at the camp, which would be utilised by the Blood Bank for the general public at their time of need.
Every donor was handed over a certificate for their valuable contribution and a plant sapling to promote Greenery and plantation in the city as well. All the participating doctors and members of the executive committee of the various organisations were honoured with a memento for their contribution.
Principal Bro. Joseph M Joseph, President SJA Alumni Association Maj General Sanjay Sharma, Secretary Tirupati Juneja, members of the executive Varun Gulati, Dr Mayur Anand, Udit Handa alongwith Ajay Goel, Ambuj Oberai, Randhir Arora, Praveen Chandhok, Sachin Aggarwal, Dr Alok Jain and other eminent Alumni members and Executive Committee members of other organisations were also present and contributed to the noble cause.
