Gov attends ‘Akhand Deepak Century Celebration’

DEHRADUN, 19 Sep: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) participated as the chief guest in the “Akhand Deepak Century Celebration: Active Workers’ Conference” at Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar, on Tuesday. On this occasion, he released books translated into the Vietnamese language of literature written by Pandit Ram Sharma and released other publications.

Addressing the event, the Governor said that today the sacred complex of Shantikunj is a centre of spiritual consciousness for crores of people. He said that the ‘Akhand Deepak Century Celebrations’ have started which will be completed in the year 2026. There will be a festive atmosphere in these three years, all the families will participate in many programmes and this Celebration will inspire crores of people.

Governor Singh said that the resolutions of great men never go in vain. ‘Yug Nirman Yojana’ and ‘Resolve of Era Transformation’ are direct examples of this.

“Today, we are moving forward with big resolutions of developed India, self-reliant India and world leader, India. These three goals are three petals of the same resolution,” he asserted.

Lt Gen Singh said that the workers of Shantikunj are spreading India’s knowledge-science tradition and education of Yoga, Ayurveda, culture and life values ​​across the world. Shantikunj as a spiritual sanatorium is realising the vision of people having healthy bodies, clean minds and a civilised society.

On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal participated as a special guest and presented his views. He said that Dev Sanskriti University is working for the welfare of humanity. Wherever selfishness is involved, there is no welfare there.

Pro-Chancellor of Dev Sanskriti University, Dr Chinmay Pandya said that whoever has good fortune in life, gets divine blessings. Like after the arrival of Swami Ramakrishna Paramahamsa in Narendra’s life, he became Swami Vivekananda. Dr Pandya said that lakhs and crores of workers of Gayatri Parivar are working in the interest of society. Gayatri Parivar is trying to awaken the people suffering from the darkness of faith crisis in society.

Vice Chancellor Acharya Om Prakash Sharma and many workers of Shantikunj Gayatri Teerth were present on the occasion.
