Dehradun, 3 Dec: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) inaugurated a knowledge camp on financial planning, budgeting, and investment at the Raj Bhavan, here, today. The camp was organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, following the Governor’s directions, to provide valuable insights into financial management for the officials and employees of Raj Bhavan.
While addressing the programme, the Governor emphasised the importance of spreading financial knowledge and said that such events should be held regularly to empower the officers and staff with better financial planning.
The Governor also highlighted the need for understanding financial rights and management in the current times. He mentioned that every individual should have a clear understanding of financial management to appropriately address future needs and risks. The Governor encouraged all Raj Bhavan staff to take advantage of this knowledge camp.
