Gov reviews progress of Tech Innovations at Raj Bhavan

Dehradun, 1 Dec: Governor Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) reviewed various ongoing projects related to technological innovations at the Raj Bhavan, here, today. On this occasion, the team presented details on the progress of new applications and various portals being developed under the “Governor’s Digital Hub”. The Governor directed that all IT projects be completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The Governor stated, “To build a self-reliant India, we must create a strong ecosystem through indigenous technology, innovation, startups, and entrepreneurship. The objective of the Raj Bhavan is to accelerate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Digital India campaign by synergising modern technology with the power of youth.”

The Governor further said that today no field remains untouched by technology; therefore, technological participation is essential for inclusive and sustainable development. He added that with the recent launch of the “Uttarakhand AI Mission–2025,” the state has taken an important step towards fulfilling public aspirations and developmental goals by adopting modern technologies.

Present on the occasion were Additional Secretary Reena Joshi, Senior Programmer VS Pundeer, along with other Raj Bhavan staff.
