DEHRADUN, 25 Jan: In an inspiring & humble way, with Bhakti writ large on his face, Uttarakhand’s Governor Lt-General Gurmit Singh received Ayodhya Pran Pratishtha prasad from Tarun Vijay, former MP who edited Panchjanya, the ideological thought leader of the Ayodhya movement during turbulent two decades.
In an inspiring gesture the Governor took out his shoes before receiving the prasad. Tarun Vijay presented special Ayodhya temple Ram Nami scarf, a picture of Virajman Ram Lalla, holy Sarayu jal and pavitr soil of Mandir known as Ram Raj and laddu prasad to the Governor.
Lt-General Singh was humility personified and said he felt greatly blessed receiving the holy prasad. He said his family has deep connection with Ayodhya and incidently he got his first posting there on the banks of Sarayu.
Tarun Vijay said a new era of national resurgence has begun with the regaining of Shri Ram Temple after a continuous struggle of 500 years. Now we have to realise Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision as he appealed at Ayodhya to move from Dev to Desh and Ram to Rashtra.
