Dehradun, 30 Jan: The state government has yet again taken an initiative to prepare a budget that aligns with public sentiments. In this regard, Finance Minister Prem Chand Aggarwal has sought suggestions from the people of the state under the slogan ‘Janata Ka Budget, Jan Ke Dwar, Jan Bhavnaaon Ke Anuroop Banega Hamara Budget’. To gather suggestions, the government will interact with stakeholders at a hotel on Rajpur Road here tomorrow.
Finance Minister Aggarwal stated that his government has started the tradition of taking public suggestions before the budget. As part of this tradition, suggestions have been invited from the people of Uttarakhand for the budget preparation for the financial year 2025-26. Budget suggestions are being sought until 9 February, 2025, to ensure public participation in the budget-making process.

According to Secretary Finance Dilip Jawalkar, a public dialogue is also being organised to prepare the budget in accordance with public sentiment. This time, the public dialogue on the budget will be held in Dehradun, ensuring the participation of stakeholders from across the state.
