Mussoorie, 23 Jan: On the auspicious occasion of Basantotsav, a formal Puja was organised on Friday at the Holika Dahan site in the city under the auspices of Shri Sanatan Dharma Temple.
On this occasion, flag hoisting was also performed amidst Vedic chants, making the entire atmosphere devotional. The office bearers and members of the temple participated in the puja programme with devotion and enthusiasm. After the worship, a collective prayer was offered for the happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being of all countrymen. Afterward, prasad was distributed to the devotees. Present at this religious event were the head of the Sanatan Dharma Temple, Deepak Agarwal, patron Rakesh Agarwal, Deputy Secretary Vaibhav Tayal, along with members Amit Garg, Rajendra Kumar, Rajesh Bhardwaj, Pramod Kumar, Rajkumar Agarwal, and other dignitaries.
During the programme, speakers highlighted the religious and cultural significance of Basantotsav, stating that the spring season infuses new energy, joy, and positivity into life. Such events strengthen social harmony and empower our cultural traditions. A beautiful blend of devotion, discipline, and enthusiasm was witnessed throughout the event, creating a spiritual atmosphere in the area.
