Dehradun, 15 June: Graphic Era Hill University has awarded a PhD degree to Harshvardhan Pant for his research on impact of motivational factors.
Harshvardhan has done his research on analysing the impact of motivational factors on learner retention in Massive Open Online Courses. This research will help in promoting high quality education in MOOCs. This research will contribute significantly in areas like students’ personal development, economic growth and social justice.
Harshvardhan conducted this research under the supervision of Dean, Academics, Prof Manoj Chandra Lohani. Dr MMS Rauthan from Garhwal University served as the external expert in the final defence of the thesis.
Dr Neeraj Dhiman, Prof Manoj Chandra Lohani, Prof Ashok Sahu, Dr Raj Kishore Bisht and Dr Mahesh Manchanda were present during the final defence.
