DEHRADUN, 30 Nov: A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Graphic Era Deemed University and SMAU International Industry and Trade Chambers. Under the MoU, professional training will be imparted to students and faculty members. The Faculty Development Programme held at Graphic Era called for collaboration between teachers and professionals to work together in advancing the field.
The two-week ATAL Faculty Development Programme concluded on Saturday. Academicians and industry professionals from various states including Uttarakhand, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh participated in the FDP. Chairman of SMAU International Industry and Trade Chambers, Uttarakhand Harindra Kumar Garg was the chief guest. Addressing the gathering he said that logistics support including train and road network could be significantly improved by integrating artificial intelligence, data analytics and technologies.
Guest of honour Shivangi Jain from Akums Drugs & Farmaceutical Ltd provided detailed information on the pharmaceutical production process.The FDP was organized by Department of Management Studies. HoD Navneet Rawat, Vice-Chairman Mohinder Ahuja, Director Lokesh Lohia, Office Director Anshika, Program Coordinator Manu Sharma and Sudhanshu Joshi from Doon University, Sachin Ghai, Abhishek Misra and Deepak Kaushal were present at the programme.
