Indian Cambridge School celebrates Christmas

DEHRADUN, 19 Dec: Soaking in the spirit of Christmas, the Pre-Primary, Primary and Middle sections of ‘The Indian Cambridge School’ put up a spectacular show to celebrate the festival. The staff and senior students joined with enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated. The students sang melodious carols such as “Joy to the world” and danced to the music. A small play, based on the birth of Jesus was also presented by the students of class VII. They showcased how he was born and lived like a common man and sacrificed his life for people’s well being. Santa’s entry brought a smile to each and every face. Sweets were also distributed. The significance of the festival was explained by Principal Rachana Srivastava. At the end of the programme, the Cock House Trophy was presented to Devotion House for its outstanding performance in Sports and Academics.
