Iranian Musical Concert held at IGNCA

New Delhi, 3 Jul: On the occasion of 70 years of Indo-Iran Diplomatic Relations, the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts in association with Iran Culture House organised an Iranian Musical Concert and Indian Art & Handicrafts Exhibition at IGNCA, New Delhi, to celebrate seventy years of Indo-Iranian relations. Dr Ramesh C Gaurthe, University Librarian, JNU, Member of Editorial /Advisory Board, Kalakalpa: Journal of the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts published by IGNCA, presided over the programme. Prof Najma Akhtar, Vice Chancellor Jamia Millia Islamia University was the Chief Guest. Dr S Farooq was invited as a special guest. Dr Ali Chegni, Ambassador of Iran in India, was the Guest of Honour. Dr Sachidanand Joshi, Member Secretary, IGNCA, proposed the vote of thanks.
