DEHRADUN, 18 Aug: Governor LtGeneral Gurmit Singh (Retd) and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival program organized at the Police Lines on Thursday. Songs based on Lord Krishna and Radha were presented by the artistes during the program which made the whole atmosphere devotional. On this occasion small children presented dances based on Krishna and Radha.
The Governor while giving his best wishes on Janmashtami said that the birth anniversary of Shri Krishna always creates a lot of enthusiasm, joy, inspiration and enthusiasm for all. The life, character, personality and teachings of Lord Shri Krishna show us the supernatural path. He said that this festival organized by the police administration is being celebrated with a lot of gaiety and reverence. The police administration is ready to serve the public 24 hours a day and today their observance of this festival is equally important for them.
Dhami while congratulating all on the occasion of Shri Krishna Janmashtami said that each incarnation of Lord Shri Krishna provides a new lesson to human beings to live life. He said that whenever there is an absence of religion felt, Lord Shri Krishna has protected the world by taking on various incarnations.
