Dehradun, 17 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi today reviewed the ongoing development works of the Jal Nigam and Jal Sansthan in the Mussoorie Assembly constituency at his camp office, here. During the meeting, he obtained detailed information from the officials regarding the progress of works in the constituency.
Joshi directed the officials of Jal Sansthan and Jal Nigam to prioritise the works related to tubewells, pumping stations, sewer lines, and other projects under the Chief Minister’s announcement for the Mussoorie Assembly constituency. He emphasised that all works must be completed within the specified time frame. He also instructed that any issues related to the Forest Department in project execution should be resolved promptly so that the projects are completed on time.
Minister Joshi urged the officials to expedite all pending works and to develop long-term strategies to address water supply issues in areas facing drinking water problems. He specifically mentioned the fast-tracking of projects such as the proposed STP construction in Gangotri Vihar and Aman Vihar, tubewells in Saket Colony, Nagal, and Dhoran, and tubewell constructions in Bima Bihar and Indra Vihar, Dobhawala.
He further instructed the officials to address pending matters in the government promptly so that the construction works are completed as soon as possible.
The meeting was attended by BJP’s Dehradun Secretary Surendra Rana, Mandal President Pradeep Rawat, Mohan Bahuguna, Satyendra Nath, Councillor Nandini Sharma, General Manager of Jal Sansthan, DK Singh, EE Sanjay Singh, Ashish Bhatt, EE of Jal Nigam Jeetmani Belwal, AE Ram Kumar, AE TS Rawat, Abhay Bhandari, and MS Manral, among others.
