Kalamanch performs ‘Bali aur Shambhu’ at Antara

DEHRADUN, 18 Jan: Kalamanch Dehradun staged a play ‘Bali aur Shambhu‘ written by Manav Kaul at Antara Senior Citizen Home, Guniyal Village on Saturday evening. The play was directed, designed and staged by Aadiip Sharma. Background music was given by Naveen Begana. The main actors of the play are Atul Vishnoi in the role of Shambhu and Pradeep Sharma in the role of Bali. Other actors are Anamika Raj, Siya Joshi, Vaibhav Tiwari, Shyamal Bahuguna and Light management was done by TK Agarwal.
Bali Aur Shambhu is a poignant play that explores the lives of two elderly men residing in an old-age home. Bali is a lively, outgoing storyteller who exudes charm and positivity, while Shambhu is a reserved and introspective soul burdened by his past. The play brings out the conflict and eventual camaraderie between these two contrasting personalities.  narrative is layered with humor, poignancy, and philosophical insights, as it examines the complexity of human emotions and the different ways people cope with aging and loneliness. Play consist of very small cast including characters characters like Jhilmil, Titli, Gautam and Shubhankar.
Bali Aur Shambhu fosters emotional awareness and reminds us that life’s most meaningful connections transcend age and circumstance, making it a must-watch for personal growth.
