DEHRADUN, 30 Aug: A portrayal of originality, innovation and imagination of the students enthralled each and everyone present at the Summer Valley School Inter-House Creativity Competition. Young creative minds of all the Houses participated to unveil their latent talent. This year saw a change in the categories with more detailed artistry added to the list – Kirigami, Decoupage, Box-E- Quill, Undress Your Ideas, PowerPoint Presentation, Rangoli, Photography and Masterchef. The Chief Guest was Sunil Uniyal ‘Gama’, who inaugurated the event. The ardour of the participants could be seen in the imagination displayed with tremendous skills. After an exciting wait, the Kanishka House was declared the Overall Winner. The winners in various categories were: Photography- Ashoka House; Kirigami- Ashoka House; Box-o-Quill- Kanishka House; Undress Your Ideas- Maurya House; Decoupage- Ashoka House; Rangoli Juniors- Ashoka House; Seniors- Maurya House; Masterchef- Ashoka and Kanishka House; and Powerpoint- Kanishka House Dr Ashok Wasu, Director of the School, encouraged the students with his words of praise. The morale of the students was also boosted by the presence of Principal Col (Dr) Jaswinder Singh, Sunita Uberoi, Vice Principal, and Associate Director Parul Goyal. The event was organised and coordinated by Dean of Activities Charu Madan.
