Dehradun, 21 Apr: Kāsiga School celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution with great zeal and fervour, here, today.
The ceremony celebrated the excellence of students in academics and co-curricular activities.
It began with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The Head of School, Dr SS Rajput, addressed the gathering and congratulated the achievers. It was followed by a dance performance by the school girls.
Gold medals were awarded to students who scored 85 percent and above marks; silver medals to those who scored between 80 and 85 percent; and bronze to those who scored between 75 and 80 percent. It was a moment of pride for the winners. Students were also felicitated for excellence in dance, art, and pottery.
The Academic Leap Award was given to students who have shown significant improvement in their academic performance over the year.
The ceremony concluded on a happy note with a soulful performance by the School Band.
