Dehradun, 16 May: National and International Coaches are improving the talents of young athletes at a sports camp organised, here, by Kasiga School.
Chairman of Kasiga School Ramesh Batta has said that, along with academics, participation in various kinds of sports for each and every school-going child is very essential. The training camp began on 9 May.
He adds that, with regular studies, Kasiga School is also taking the initiative to groom inner qualities and sports skills of various students.
During this training camp, around 198 students are being trained by professional coaches in various sports like Football, Cricket, Athletics, Basket Ball, Swimming, Table Tennis and Shooting. Kasiga School has sanctioned a budget of Rs 1.5 crores for sports promotion. To improve the skills of youngsters, football coach from Italy Playbio Refo, Athletics, VK Verma from Patiala, Cricket, Vineet Jain and Parag Jain form Chandigarh, Shooting, Muneer Ahmad form Indore, Swimming, Tehreena Nasreen from West Bangal, Tennis, Sharad Kumar form Bhupati Tennis Academy and, Table Tennis, Prince Vipon from Dehradun have gathered at Kasiga.
