DEHRADUN, 17 Mar: All office bearers and members of Kshatriya Chetna Manch paid tribute, today, at the Maharana Pratap Bhawan, Nanurkhera, to the brave soldiers for their supreme sacrifice for the country on 14 February, by lighting candles and observing two minutes of silence.
On the occasion, President of the Manch Thakur Mohan Singh Chauhan said, “We cannot forget the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers for the security of the country. Our country is secure due to our brave soldiers deployed on the borders and it is our duty to take care of their families at home.”
KCM Central General Secretary Ravi Singh Negi asserted that due to the martyrdom of the soldiers there was a sense of grief among the members and officials of the Manch, due to which the annual Holi Milan programme had been cancelled this year.
Besides distinguished guests, others present included Shashi Shahi, Mahesh Rauthan, Surinder Singh Tomar, Budh Singh Rawat, Ashok Vardhan Singh, RV Chauhan, Ranjana Rawat, Anita Ranawat and Saroj Chauhan, etc.
