Dehradun, 29 Aug: BJP today claimed that the positive outcomes of Dhami government’s strict anti-cheating law to ensure fair and transparent competitive examinations are beginning to show. BJP’s State Media In charge, Manveer Chauhan today asserted that within just three years of the government’s tenure, 40 percent of the youth for Group C posts have passed two to four government job examinations because of ensuring merit-based result. Many of the youth who cleared other competitive exams and were employed elsewhere have managed to clear the PCS exams on the basis of their hard work mainly because the exams have been held in a fair manner and no copying was reported.
Chauhan said that there are 17 Naib Tehsildars who have qualified the PCS exam. Chauhan claimed that, in the Dhami government, talented youth are getting jobs with talent.
Chauhan said that in Group C a record has been created of holding the examinations and declaring the results in a timely manner. As a result, appointment letters have been issued in time. The BJP leader claimed that with transparent examinations 30 to 40 percent talented youth have passed not one but two to four job examinations, each, on the basis of their hard work and talent. In UKPSC examinations alone, 448 youths have cleared more than two competitive examinations. He shared that for the posts coming under the purview of UKSSSC this number is many times higher. Good candidates have cleared examinations in various departments for the posts ranging from Patwari, Clerk, Forest Guard to Ranger. The PCS results show that the candidates already working on posts like Naib Tehsildar, Review Officer, Excise Inspector, EO, Teacher have also cleared the examination for top posts like SDM, DSP, Finance Officer, etc.
Chauhan claimed that earlier in the state, a single family used to get four jobs by cheating and through recommendation. But now due to strict anti-cheating law, a candidate is getting recognition for his talent by clearing four to five job examinations. He asserted that in the PCS result released yesterday in the state, talented candidates have set a record of success. In Joshimath, Naib Tehsildar Ashish Joshi has displayed his talent by topping the post of SDM for the fourth job within just two years. Similarly, Excise Inspector Pankaj Bhatt, Executive Officer Vaibhav Kandpal, Review Officer Mukesh Joshi, Trainee SDM Akanksha Gupta posted in Bijnor, Akshita Bhatt, Naib Tehsildar Robin Rana, Alkesh Nautiyal, etc., have got jobs on top posts including SDM. Among them, 17 candidates alone who are already Naib Tehsildars, have passed the PCS exam. There is a long list of talented youth like Sonia Singh, Saumya Garbyial, Anil Rawat, who have got top PCS jobs in the very first attempt.
Chauhan said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has first broken the back of the exam rigging and copying mafia in past few years. He has destroyed the copying and rigging mafia who had been robbing the jobs of hardworking and capable youth like termites for years. More than 80 copying mafia members were put behind bars by Dhami Government which also took a very bold decision to protect the interests of the youth by bringing the country’s toughest anti-copying law in the state. As a result, the results also showing. In the examinations in which earlier a family used to get four jobs through recommendation and copy mafia, now hardworking and capable youth are getting success in those jobs.
He said that with this decision, passing more than two examinations simultaneously also provides the option of a desired job. This pace of youth getting jobs is still continuing. A large number of youth have passed more than two job examinations for PCS, Lower PCS and other posts. This, he claimed is the result of transparent examination process and strict anti-copying law is that the youth are able to get jobs according to their talent.
