Magic of songs accompanied by Abir and Gulal at GEU

Dehradun, 23 March: Along with the celebration of Holi with colors at the Graphic Era Holi Milan event, the magic of songs also ensued. Teachers and renowned doctors also danced to the tunes of lilting music making everyone feel the joy of Holi.
This event was organized late in the evening at the grounds of Graphic Era Deemed University today. The colorful event, which began with Abir Gulal, started with performances by the university’s student group Swaragini, who sang songs in Garhwali, Kumaoni and Hindi. Following this, senior lyricist Deepak mesmerized the audience with his new and old songs. On audience’s demand, Graphic Era Group of Institutions’ Chairman Prof Kamal Ghanshala, mesmerised everyone with his voice. As Dr Kamal Ghanshala began singing, one by one, teachers and doctors, along with everyone else came forward to dance near the stage. This dancing spree continued for a long time. Alongside the enthusiastic youth with Abir Gulal, senior officials also enjoyed dancing for quite some time.
Director of Graphic Era Hospital, Dr Puneet Tyagi, also sang songs and received applauses during the program. Officials and teachers, including Pro-Chancellor Graphic Era Deemed University Dr Rakesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor Graphic Era Hill University Dr Sanjay Jasola, Secretary DK Joshi, Dr Arvind Dhar, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Nitin Bansal of Graphic Era Hospital, were present in the Holi Milan event. The event was conducted by Sahib Sablok.
The Holi Milan event of the Civil Defence Organization will be organized tomorrow on March 24, at the Graphic Era Deemed University’s campus. Civil Defence Deputy Controller Shyamendra Kumar Sahu said that the event will begin at 12 noon in the university’s B-Tech Auditorium.
