Dehradun, 10 Nov: Darbar Shri Guru Ram Rai’s Mahant Devendra Das will participate in the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela. On Saturday, a delegation of senior seers of the Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad met him with the invitation at the Darbar Sahib. Presently, Mahant Devendra Das is All India President of the ‘Udasin Bhes Sanrakshan Samiti’. As many as 350 ashrams and institutions of the Udasin Sampraday function under the Samiti. The Udasin Bhes Sanrakshan Samiti has been granted land for various activities during the Kumbh Mela-2025.
As per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib, the sadhu-sants were warmly welcomed. On behalf of Shri Panchayati Akhara Bara Udasin, Krishna Nagar, Keedganj (Prayagraj), the invitation for the Kumbh Mela was given to Mahant Devendra Das. On behalf of Akhil Bhartiya Akhara Parishad, Secretary Swami Shivanand Maharaj, Mahant Advetanand Maharaj from Panchayati Bara Akhara, and Acharya Santosh Muni presented the invitation to Mahant Devendar Das.
On this occasion, Mahant Devendra Das said that the month long spiritual samagam will take place at Prayagraj’s Sangam Ki Reti. He congratulated the people of Uttarakhand and the country in advance for the successful holding of the Kumbh Mela.
The first Shahi Snan will be organised on 14 January 2025. A team of doctors of the Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital will organise free medical camps at the Mela. Free of cost medicines and ambulance service will also be made available by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital.
