Pokhda (Paudi), 22 Jun: Chaubattakhal MLA and Minister for Public Works, Panchayati Raj, Tourism, Irrigation, Rural Development, Watershed, Endowment and Culture, Satpal Maharaj announced several schemes worth Rs 468.35 lakh during his visit to the constituency.
Satpal Maharaj, during his visit to the Vidhan Sabha constituency on Thursday, presented an amount of Rs. 261.88 lakh to asphalt the Bansai Motorway and homestay built-in Satpuli with an amount of 199.47 lakh. Fisheries Center and Computers costing a total of 70 lakh were distributed to the village heads of the selected village panchayats Masau Museta, Paboli, Sasoun, Pusoli, Mudiyap, Diuld, Ansari Thapla, Bagyali, Kulasu, Ida, Ranaswa, Panthar, Badeth and Isauti under development block Ekeshwar.
Maharaj said that in one year, 67 kilometers of motorway have been constructed in the area at 78 crores 90 lakhs. Giving information, he said that more than Rs 19 crore 81 lakhs were approved by the Irrigation Department for flood protection and other works. In the year 2022-23, 58 panchayat houses were approved in the assembly constituency. Rs 10 crore 47 lakhs were sanctioned for tourism houses under the tourism department.
He informed that Rs 0.1 billion 60 crore have been sanctioned for the construction of pumping drinking water schemes. Under the Rural Livelihood Mission, an amount of Rs 66 lakh 30 thousand was sanctioned to 674 women self-help groups. We are making every possible effort for the development of the area, work is going on in many other ways.
During the tour he inquired about the works under construction between National Highway No. 121, Sunsi-Bironkhal, the progress of Barsund Pumping Drinking Water Scheme in Kunjkhal, as well as the multi-story shopping complex and car parking under construction in Satpuli Nagar. During this, he also participated in the closing ceremony of the festival organized at Kota Mahadev Temple.
