Dehradun, 29 May: A man’s body was found near the Clock Tower here on Thursday. Some passersby informed the police by dialling 112. The police reached the spot and took the man to Coronation Hospital. There, the doctors declared him brought dead.
According to the information, the incident happened at around 6 a.m. Police said, the deceased was identified as Manoj, a 42-year-old resident of Gairsain, Chamoli. He used to live in Majra, Dehradun, with his brother and worked as a labourer. He was not married.
After the family was informed, they reached the hospital. The police said they are looking into all possible reasons behind the death. The investigation is going on. Police said it appears to be a heart attack at first glance. However, the exact cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem report.
