Dehradun, 7 Dec: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi inspected the venue on Thursday regarding the preparations for the Uttarakhand Global Investors’ Summit to be held on 8th and 9th December at FRI, here. On this occasion, he reviewed various arrangements, gave final instructions to officials regarding all preparations.
He mentioned that he had been entrusted with the responsibility of the welcome programme for Prime Minister Narendra Modi by the party. He reported that approximately 20 cultural teams, including about 2000 women in traditional attire, will welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi with flower showerd, and 50 students from Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya will perform Vedic chanting.
Joshi expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. He said that Prime Minister Modi has been consistently guiding the state during his visits. Joshi claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision and the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has created a favourable environment for investors in the state. The results are visible today, with a large number of investors coming to invest in Uttarakhand. He said that through this summit, approximately Rs 3425 crores would be invested in agriculture, horticulture, and aroma sectors.
Joshi mentioned that, under the mantra of reform-perform-transform, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has given a new dimension to the state in the field of industry for investors. He stated that the Summit will undoubtedly prove to be a milestone in making Uttarakhand a strong state and positioning it among the best states in the country.
On this occasion, District Magistrate Sonika, Chief Development Officer Jharna Kamthan, and other district administration officials were also present.
