Dehradun, 1 Oct: Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi held a meeting with military officers and other officials at his camp office on Thursday to discuss various development works under Dehradun and Landour Cantonment Boards.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding the proposed and ongoing development works in the Dehradun and Landour cantonment areas. Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi said that better coordination between the departments and the Cantonment Boards is essential to provide improved basic amenities to residents living in cantonment areas and to resolve pending development-related issues.
He directed the officials to take action on development-related matters on a priority basis through mutual coordination, so that the residents of the areas can benefit from these initiatives at the earliest.
Deputy GOC Brigadier R.S. Thapa, Chief Executive Officer, Dehradun Cantonment Board, Anant Akash, and Mussoorie Municipal Council Chairperson Meera Saklani were present at the meeting.
