Dehradun/Meghalaya, 9 Jan: During his visit to Assam, Uttarakhand Minister of Soldiers’ Welfare, Ganesh Joshi, met Indian Army personnel of the Assam Rifles in Shillong, Meghalaya.
On this occasion, Minister Joshi boosted the morale of the soldiers and appreciated their invaluable contribution to the security of the nation.
The Soldiers’ Welfare Minister interacted with the personnel and took feedback on their working conditions, facilities, and requirements. He said that soldiers deployed for the protection of the country’s borders serve under extremely challenging conditions, and their dedication and courage are a source of inspiration for the entire nation.
Minister Ganesh Joshi stated that both the Central and State Governments are continuously working for the welfare of ex-servicemen and serving personnel, and every possible effort is being made to safeguard their interests.
Senior officers of the Assam Rifles and other personnel were present on the occasion.
