Dehradun, 18 Jun: It is a privileged moment for Nanhi Dunya “The International Movement of Children & their Friends” that after an outstanding performance, last year, Brave Kids has invited another group from Nanhi Dunya to represent India again, this year.

Before their departure, the team interacted at Shastri Bhavan, New Delhi, with Union Minister of Human Resource Development Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’. The group along with the members of Nanhi Dunya interacted with him.
Minister Nishank said, “The talented children of Nanhi Dunya have achieved a milestone with their hard work which has added to the glory of our nation. This year these children will achieve new heights in Brave Kids and will make their mark amongst the children from Poland and other countries.” He commended the efforts of the dedicated team of Nanhi Dunya and gave them his blessings.
Before this, the children were also blessed by CM TS Rawat, Speaker of the Uttarakhand Assembly Prem Chand Agarwal, and Secretary, Education, R Meenakshi Sundaram.

Last year, children and a group leader from Nanhi Dunya represented India at the 9th Edition of Brave Kids programme which took place in Zhydachiv, Ukraine.
The group was led by Ashu Satvika Goyal, Project Facilitator and an active member associated with Nanhi Dunya for the past 10 years. Children were fortunate to interact with eminent personages like the Mayor of Zhydachiv City, Ukraine, Yaroslav Gavr Ulchyk and Vice-President of Pizemysl, Poland. Further, on their return, the Vice President, Venkaiah Naidu, had met the children and members of Nanhi Dunya on 12 July, 2018, at his official residence in New Delhi.
