Dehradun, 17 Nov: Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme was organised today in Gram Panchayat Mednipur and Badripur of Vikas Nagar block. Many state government departments including Agriculture Department, Social Welfare Department, Health Department, Food Supply Department, Ayushman Bharat, Child Development Department participated in the programme. The programme was inaugurated by Vikasnagar MLA Munna Singh Chauhan. Vikasnagar block chief Jaswinder Singh was also present with him. Vikas Rath was welcomed by self-help groups and women of Gram Panchayat on this occasion.
In the programme, information about the schemes run by the Government of India was given by officers/employees of various departments. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address was also narrated to the people through the publicity vehicle of Bharat Sankalp Yatra developed. During this, beneficiaries of many schemes including Ayushman Bharat also spoke how they and their families are taking benefits of the schemes. In addition, many beneficiaries of various schemes also shared their experiences during the programme.
