Dehradun, 8 Sep: BJP President Nitin Nabin will arrive in Haldwani tomorrow on a two-day state visit.

BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt reminded today that the party’s state executive meeting will be held tomorrow in Haldwani, with 597 office‑bearers from across Uttarakhand participating. The meeting will be addressed by BJP national president Nitin Naveen, who will be the chief guest. Discussions will mainly focus on the roadmap for a developed Uttarakhand, prevailing political circumstances and strategies for the 2027 Assembly elections. Nabin is expected to guide party workers with his formula for electoral success.

Bhatt said the meeting will begin at 11 a.m. and will include representatives from all the districts and organisational units. Nabin will address the office‑bearers and the party workers on strengthening preparations down to the booth level and bringing the organisation into election mode. Two key resolutions on Uttarakhand’s development roadmap will be placed before the committee, alongside detailed deliberations on election strategy. Besides overseeing the state executive meeting, He will also interact with youth, particularly Gen Z, and is scheduled to attend an ex‑servicemen’s conference and address a Sikh community gathering in Rudrapur. Nabin is expected to remain in Kumaon region only in these two days.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami is also scheduled to participate in the meetings.

It may however be reminded there that the post of General Secretary (Organisation) is lying vacant for some time now after the then General Secretary (Organisation) Ajaey Kumar was transferred to Rajasthan. The post of State General Secretary (Organsation) is generally filled by someone from the RSS and the appointment is made at the Central level only. Not only, this, BJP leader in‑charge of the party affairs in Uttarakhand Dushyant Gautam is not expected to attend according to the sources in the party.  Sources claimed that the BJP may soon appoint some other leader, replacing Gautam as leader in charge of the party affairs in Uttarakhand. Sources also claimed that the party is also likely to informally discuss the purification issue raised by Congress and decide how to counter it effectively.
