‘Lok Vidhan’ held at Graphic Era

Dehradun, 9 Mar: Nivedita Chanda and Jayant Chaudhary won the titles of Best Representatives in the Youth Parliament organised by the name, Lok Vidhan, at Graphic Era Hill University, here, today.
Students were awarded in various categories in the Inter-University Youth Parliament at Graphic Era Hill University. Among them, Jayant Chaudhary and Nivedita Chanda won the Best Representative award in the All India Political Party Meet. Hanuman Beniwal and Divyanshu Puri were given the first place in the High Commendation category. Aish Thapliyal was awarded as Best Journalist, Sangam Pun was awarded as Best Photographer, Anjali Rana was awarded as Best Delegate in International Olympic Committee, Shruti was awarded a Special Mention and Rudra Vashisht was awarded as the Best Campus Ambassador.
Director of Postal Services, Uttarakhand, Anusuya Prasad Chamola, and Director of Bureau of Indian Standards, Dehradun, Saurabh Tiwari were the Chief Guests at the valedictory session of the programme.
Lok Vidhan was organised by the Youth Parliament Society of Graphic Era University.
HOD, Humanities and Social Sciences, Dr Prabha Lama, Prof BS Bisht, Dr Bharti Sharma, Dr Gaurav Dimri, Dr Rajkumar Singh, Ankita Jakhmola and a large number students were present.
