Lansdowne, 17 May: ARO Lansdowne, under the aegis of HQ Recruiting Zone Lucknow, successfully conducted an outreach programme for a large contingent of NCC cadets from
31 UK Battalion, Haridwar.
The event featured an interactive lecture-cum-discussion in which cadets were briefed in detail on the Indian Army’s various recruitment procedures and the preparation required to join the forces. Beyond career guidance, the session aimed to instil values of patriotism, discipline, and selfless service, motivating the cadets to become responsible citizens and contribute to nation-building. The informal and constructive discussion saw enthusiastic participation, with cadets actively engaging with the conducting staff and clarifying their queries. Informative pamphlets outlining recruitment pathways and eligibility criteria were distributed to further raise awareness.
The programme concluded on a high note, leaving the cadets inspired and better informed about opportunities to serve the nation.
