Mussoorie, 18 Sep: Coach Subhash Rana, who brought pride to the country with 4 medals in the Paris Paralympics shooting discipline, was given a warm welcome by members of the Mussoorie Sports Association on his arrival, here, today.
On this occasion, members of the Association greeted Subhash Rana by garlanding him. While talking to journalists, coach Rana gave a message to the youth that they stay away from drugs and strive for a better future and the development of the country. Subhash Rana said that the youth should set a goal for their future and try continuously to achieve it and be patient. He said that he is from the mountains, where there is no dearth of talent. To develop the talent, aspirants need the right platform along with the right guidance. If the players of the hills get help from the government, they can also bring glory to the country.
He asserted that the government should construct the Bhiladu sports ground in Mussoorie so that the sports talents of facilities and they can get a better platform to improve their skills.
On this occasion, former Municipal Council President Manmohan Singh Mall, Mussoorie Sports Association President Surat Singh Rawat, Vice President Nand Lal Sonkar, Secretary Saurabh Sonkar, Roop Chand (Guruji), BSNegi and others were among those present.
