Dehradun, 21 Aug: Graphic Era Deemed University has awarded a PhD degree to Anuj Raturi. Anuj has received this degree for his research on developing a device that can purify water using solar energy.
Anuj Raturi is a faculty of mechanical engineering at Graphic Era. He has completed his research under the supervision of Prof Desh Bandhu Singh of Department of Mechanical Engineering. In this research, Anuj has achieved success in improving the quality of fresh water with the use of a solar still. This research could play an important role in solving the problems of clean water in villages and towns.
Chairman of Graphic Era Group of Institutions Dr Kamal Ghanshala said that Graphic Era puts in an effort to utilise research for the benefit of the country and society. The development of a new device for purifying contaminated water through this research is commendable.
