Dehradun, 6 Mar: BJP state president Mahendra Bhatt has described the Prime Minister’s visit to Uttarkashi as giving a double-engine speed to winter tourism.

In a statement issued following Modi’s visit to Uttarkashi, Bhatt claimed that Modi is the best brand ambassador of Devbhoomi and asserted that the “Gham Taapo” scheme suggested by Modi will elevate winter tourism to new heights. His message will establish the valley of Maa Ganga Yamuna on the world tourism map.

Bhatt expressed gratitude on behalf of the 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand, stating that the arrival of Modi always enhances the development and identity of the state. He also stressed on the PM’s special attachment to the development of Uttarakhand and its people. This was evident once again before his arrival when the cabinet approved the Sri Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib ropeways.

The BJP State President expressed confidence that after Modi’s visit, the state’s winter tourism will receive a significant boost. Under his guidance, the Dhami government has developed the state’s infrastructure to a level that has enabled the commencement of this winter journey. His message regarding a successful, smooth, and safe journey to the state will instil new confidence and enthusiasm in the minds of devotees.

Bhatt claimed that under Modi’s guidance, both pilgrimage and tourism in Uttarakhand are moving towards their golden period. In this context, the best brand ambassador of Devbhoomi and Sanatan culture calling for winter travel is bound to give a new identity to Uttarakhand on the tourism map of the country and the world. He mentioned that Modi’s visit to Uttarkashi, the origin place for Mother Ganga and Yamuna, will attract a flood of devotees.

The Prime Minister’s beautiful association of the sunshine of the mountains with providing warmth to tourists from the plains will have a miraculous effect on winter tourism in the coming days. The BJP MP added that the state government is continuously progressing rapidly by adopting the basic mantra of development and heritage. Therefore, the “Ghaam Taap” scheme suggested by him today will prove to be very inspiring in attracting tourists.
