PRSIndia’s Ajit Pathak meets DG Information, extends invitation to National Conference

DEHRADUN, 1 Dec: Dr Ajit Pathak, the National President of the Public Relations Society of India (PRSIndia), called on the Director General of Information, Banshidhar Tiwari, and invited him to the upcoming National Conference in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The two discussed the role of public relations and communications during Uttarakhand’s 25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee year.

Pathak remarked that Uttarakhand holds immense reverence in the hearts of all Indians. He acknowledged the state’s significant progress in recent years. Uttarakhand ranked first in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) index released by the NITI Aayog. He also highlighted the exemplary decisions taken by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on the anti-cheating law and the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), which have set a precedent for other states. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Dhami, Uttarakhand has made exceptional strides in both preserving and developing its heritage.

Tiwari emphasised the need for the country’s citizens to learn more about Uttarakhand’s progress and the diverse dimensions of its tourism. He suggested that the Public Relations Society of India (PRSIndia) could play a vital role in this endeavour.

Dr Pathak praised Uttarakhand’s development and shared information about PRSIndia’s extensive national network. He expressed PRSIndia’s commitment to serving as a bridge in spreading the state’s achievements, investment opportunities, and tourism information throughout the country.

The meeting was also attended by Ravi Bijarnia, President, and Anil Sati, Secretary of the PRSIndia Dehradun Chapter.
