DEHRADUN, 25 Nov: Quantum School of Business organised a national conference, ‘Prudence-2019’ on 23 November at the university campus. The theme of the conference was “Changing face of Entrepreneurship: Startup, E- Commerce & Empowerment”. Prudence- 2019 provided delegates and students with opportunities for collaborative learning with industry experts, exclusive networking opportunities, idea sharing forums along with entertaining activities. The conference was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr Vivek Kumar. He welcomed the eminent personalities present, including Chief Guest Prof Ajit Kumar, Guest of Honour Sushil Agarwal, Rajesh Sethia, Keynote speaker, Prof Pankaj Mondon, Panel Chair and Moderator, and Sanjeev Gupta, Panel Expert. Dr Lokinder Kumar Tyagi, Dean, Quantum School of Business, said, “Prudence is being organised to live the spirit of innovation and foster a community of dynamic thinkers who can serve society through their innovations.” He described the challenges and opportunities that may come in the path of the students while pursuing their entrepreneurship dream. More than 40 selected research papers were presented and discussed by the faculty members and research scholars from different part of India. UPES, Uttarakhand; Ravenshaw University, Cuttack; MDU, Haryana; Noida International University; Poona College of Humanity and Commerce, Maharashtra; BPS Mahila University, Sonipat; Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Ambala, Central University of Jammu were among the prominent contributors to the conference. Moreover, University Centre for Economic Managerial, Mexico also presented a research paper at this conference. The concluding remarks were given by Dr Lokinder Kumar Tyagi, Dean, Quantum School of Business. VC Dr Vivek Kumar presented mementoes and certificates of appreciation to the guest speakers on behalf of the university.
