Dehradun, 20 Apr: A group of 46 students of Shivalik College of Pharmacy along with faculty members Prof Rahul Pandey and Prof Vineet Joshi paid an industrial visit to the Himalaya Wellness Company, here, today.
They visited the Laboratories, Museum, Herbal Garden, etc., and learned the latest techniques of Pharma production.
Dr S Farooq, while addressing them, stated that India is the world’s third largest producer of drugs in terms of volume and is now among the top five Pharmaceutical emerging markets in the world, with ample scope for further growth.
He satisfied the queries raised by the students and said that one should emphasise on quality and research.
Prof Rahul Pandey proposed the vote of thanks for the hospitality provided by the Company.
