Rishikesh, 14 Dec: Rama Sharma, student of Class VI, Aacharyakulam, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, bagged Third Position in the National Level Painting Competition on Energy Conservation organised by Union Ministry of Power.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan gave away the prizes to the winners in the presence of MoS (IC), Power & NRE, RK Singh, AK Bhalla, Secretary, Power, AK Bakre, DG(BEE) and Rajpal, Economic Advisor, MOP, at the prize distribution ceremony held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, today.
P Saishma of Class VI, Aacharyakulam, secured a consolation prize in the same category. THDCIL, as the Nodal Agency, organised the State Level Energy Conservation Painting Competition for Uttarakhand.
Vijay Goel, Director (Personnel), UC Kannaujia, GM, NCR office, Kaushambi, and NK Prasad, AGM/Nodal Officer, were also present at the function.
