DEHRADUN, 17 Jan: The Rashtriya Indian Military College organised a Faculty Development Workshop on 15 January at the Pegasus HRD Development Campus located at the base of Bhadraj, Mussoorie.
The school reopened after a month and a half long winter vacation. The Workshop was conducted by two Resource Persons – the corporate mentor, Commander Deepak Adhar (Retd)- and Samrat Chauhan.
It was a fun filled day of learning for the RIMC faculty. The entire team was refreshed and energised to meet the challenges of the new session.
Founded in 1997, Pegasus is now a pan-India institution, present in Bangalore, Pune, Bhubaneswar, Dehradun & Pondicherry. It has overseas footprint in UK, Canada, Sri Lanka, China, Nepal, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand.
Commander Deepak Adhar, apart from having had a successful career in the Defence Forces, has headed several corporate organisations and is an HRD trainer and motivational Guru.
Samrat Chauhan has had a long association with Corporate and HR Training and is currently heading the Dehradun Campus of Peagasus.
This Workshop was an exclusive Faculty Development Programme for the RIMC. It worked on ‘Team Building & Creative Synergy’, touched upon a wide range of subjects dealing with pedagogy and school management. The topics were discussed outdoors, in the lap of the mountains. Intricate topics were covered with physical activities involving every member of the faculty.
Col Vivek Sharma, Commandant, RIMC, took keen interest and was present right from the beginning till the end. He was also one of the members of a team.
The day long workshop ended with Col Vivek Sharma expressing his gratitude and presenting mementoes to the Resource Persons.
