Dehradun, 7 May: A Financial Education Workshop as per the guidelines of SEBI (Securities & Exchange Board of India) was organised at Mahatma Khushi Ram Public Library for its members on 4 May, which was conducted by a SEBI resource person, Sunil Madan.
SEBI, a regulatory body for the Capital Market, has embarked on a programme to spread Financial Education, an important life skill which empowers people to make sound investment decisions. The SEBI Toll Free Helpline: 1800 22 7575 / 1800 266 7575.
The participants found the workshop very useful in financial planning and investment. The President and a board member of trustees of the library, Vijay Bansal, interacted with the participants to get their feedback and informed them about such value added programmes covering areas of interest for its members in the future.
