Mussoorie, 6 Jul: While vacation photos of Bollywood stars often make headlines, actor Shahid Kapoor’s connection with Mussoorie has evolved far beyond mere tourism. His frequent presence in the ‘Queen of Hills’ is no longer about film shoots or holidays, but is now linked to his daughter Misha Kapoor’s education. Consequently, Shahid Kapoor arrived in Mussoorie once again on Sunday with his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, and son, Zain Kapoor; he dropped Misha off for a summer programme at a prestigious school before heading back to Mumbai.
This is not the first time Shahid Kapoor has visited Mussoorie for his daughter’s sake. Over the past few years, he has visited the same school multiple times for her admission, school activities, and summer programmes. These visits make it clear that, for his family, Mussoorie is no longer just a hill station but a significant location tied to his daughter’s future.
As news of Shahid Kapoor’s arrival at the school spread on Sunday evening, crowds began to gather on the premises and in the surrounding area. Locals and tourists were seen waiting outside the school, hoping for a glimpse of their favourite actor. Although Shahid Kapoor kept his distance from the media and did not engage in any formal interaction, he did not disappoint his fans. Smiling, he posed for photos with many people and acknowledged their greetings with a wave. The actor’s affable demeanour won people’s hearts once again.
According to sources, Misha Kapoor is participating in the school’s summer programme, which has drawn a large number of children from across the country and abroad. Shahid Kapoor dropped his daughter off at the hostel and, after spending some time on the school campus, departed for Mumbai with his family.
