Dehradun, 31 Jan: As much as 75% of contribution to startups in Uttarakhand made by the students of Graphic Era University, it was stated at a workshop organised by its Technological Business Incubator Division. During this workshop, the official website, www.tbigeu.com, was also launched. The main objective of the workshop was to motivate the students to work on startups and to develop innovative ideas and also obtain funds for the ideas generated.
Students of various study areas of Graphic Era University are connected with TBI. Under this programme, students will get the opportunity to work under Make in India, Department of Science and Technology, and Startup Uttarakhand. So far, about 150 plus projects, 300 plus reviews, and 200 plus clients and 10 plus incubators have been started in TBI.
Professor Rakesh Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Graphic Era Deemed University, encouraged the students, saying that every startup is, first, a small idea, which if worked hard and diligently on takes the form of a big enterprise. CEO of TBI, Vishal JC encouraged the students to learn from their failures and work accordingly.
