Table Tennis Tournament held at Guru Nanak School

Mussoorie, 11 Aug: A table tennis competition was organised in the auditorium of Guru Nanak School under the aegis of MSS. Five schools of Mussoorie participated.

The final match was played between Woodstock School and Guru Nanak School. From the beginning, there was a tough competition between the players of both the teams. The players tried their best to score maximum points by hitting excellent shots in their own style.

In the senior category, Dhruv Chaudhary and Harsh Tulsi Maan of Woodstock School won by defeating the pair of Guransh and Ankush of Guru Nanak School 11-5, 7-11, 11-9.

In the junior category, Woodstock School defeated Guru Nanak School 11-5, 9-11, 11-9. Earlier, in the 12th category, Vibhu of Mussoorie Public School won by defeating Manan Chauhan of Guru Nanak School 11-5, 7-11, 11-9.

On this occasion, the administrative officer of the school, Sunil Bakshi, and the head teacher, Kuldeep Singh Tyagi, gave away trophies and medals to the winners and encouraged the children by wishing them a bright future in sports. On this occasion, the role of judges was played by Ajay Negi, Varun Rawat, R Ansari, Mijan Negi and Shivpal Singh.
