The Roach Rage

It all started with the statement of our CJI, perhaps in judicial wisdom or in his lighter moments, naming the restless youth of our nation ‘Cockroaches’.  Inadvertently comparing them with the millions of years old indestructible and unevolved species of our planet. I think this could be an honour and not an epithet. But then the euphemism has been picked up by a native who has been brainwashed and trained by a western nation to use the social media to misconstrue the word and make it into a means to arouse the youth of Bharat. The aim was to shake an elected and well entrenched government out of its salubriousness and, if possible, oust it for the antinational politicians to take over. This influencer called it a ‘satirical front’ and made the easily impressionable students of our nation, specially affected by the NEET episode, to think that it is exclusively their platform to tell our government to react and rectify. But one wonders why the various, expensively funded student unions did not take up this issue with the government. Their names do not appear anywhere either to participate or to prevent students from becoming a tool in the hands of this international conspiracy!

The Cockroach Junta Party and its parading itself as a front for the aggrieved students at the Jantar-Mantar came as a raging storm that the government and its advisers failed to foresee. The CJP did not object to the rabble rousers and the opposition political nexus infiltrating them with their paid rioters and turned a purported peaceful agitation into a violent one. Remember how in the same place the protesting ex-defence personnel asking for OROP deliberately turned away the politicians who wanted to join them. Why could this assembly not do the same? The deep state’s involvement gets more obvious with some foreign agencies using their local contacts to flood the site with food and gift aids as if a calamity had descended upon the Bhartiya capital. All because the ignorant and impressionable ‘students’ and youths could not keep the rabble rousers from interfering with their agitation. The vulnerable young ones got so enamoured by this assembly that they made it into a fun gathering by baring their bodies obscenely.

Their main grouse of the leakage of NEET papers was completely confused by their asking the minister of education’s resignation instead of punishing the paper setters, printers and couriers of the question papers. The system needed changing. But, now, highlighted by all kinds of media their demands have become multifarious which do not concern those students.

The government patiently observed and resolved to placate the really aggrieved youth by taking reformative actions after a participative parliamentary discussion. But again, one wonders why the satirical entity CJP has represented the youth for talks with the government and why the opposition vehemently refused to participate in discussions. Instead, they tried to convert the Sanctum-Santorum of our democracy into a Jantar-Mantar. And did you miss the statement attributed to a very senior opposition leader saying the government’s capitulation is a victory for the opposition? There is therefore no doubt in our minds that whole movement right from its conception by the foreign based Bharatiya doing his post grad in public relations and ex-member of AAP was backed by those who cannot bear Bharat to become a prosperous and influential nation. They are jealous of Bharatiya intelligent and industrious youth dominating the job markets in advanced western nations too.

The social as well paper and TV media too is also to be blamed for trying to raise their TRP by making the CJP look like a dreaded revolution as if they would sweep the governance of our Bharat as was done in some of our neighbouring nations. Should they have not exercised restraint and not give credence to this misconceived satirical phenomenon? This is not even a registered ‘party’, the norm that we use for our political groups. However, there have been many sane citizens of our nation who have come out with their write-ups and posts to jolt our systems from their euphoria of this fiasco.

A lesson that should be learnt is that our governance needs to be updated with the potency of digital and AI means available to anyone to start a campaign with good or malafide intentions. As is seen now that the inventor of CJP has acquired a following and their demands and threats are on the increase. Such unconstitutional methods of interference in our governing system more with the prompting or a face of antinational foreign based interest must be quashed in the bud.

A remark sparked a satire. A satire paraded itself as a temporary front. The fiasco it caused ought to end there but now the front has started dictating terms to a duly elected lawful government! Not done. The CJP ought to be banned and its propagators dealt with under the provisions of nation’s laws. Cockroaches manage to become indestructible because they multiply in dark hidden places and come out only to scrounge on crumbs in dark only. Those who come out in the light are stepped on or sprayed on so that they do not infect other living beings.
